GENERAL RULES
- respect both members and staff we don't want any fighting, so just treat the people the way you want to be treated. if you are just being downright mean to both members and staff, the admins will not hesitate to ban you forever. seriously, everyone wants to have some respect.
- do not nag any of the staff to go check on your application, we got lives! Even if we show up on the board, doesn't mean we're ready to go check an application! We can have bad days and various occupations at the same time! Same goes to posting, we don't like naggers and if I see anyone bugging a member or a staff, you'll get a warning and if you don't settle down, a ban will be set on you.
- respect the application form we've worked hard to make this site look pretty as well as for the application of the members to do. You can only change the name and the quote, nothing else. It would be appreciated.
- have a decent sized image it would be appreciated. don't use a picutre that would stretch the board, it makes the site look ugly. you must understand that we need to keep the site nice and organized, so if we do see a too large image on your account, we will ask you to take it off.
- make sure that your coding is right when making your application. just don't try to mess up with the application we give you okay? don't be shy if you have trouble with it, you can ask to a staff and we'll be happy to help you. we just don't want to have to fix it ourselves whenever there's something wrong to it.
- read and respect the rules seriously. keep it up to date, make sure you didn't miss anything. none of the staff like to repeat what has been already written down and you just decided not to take the time to read them. it doesn't take long to read and notice and respect them.
- if you create a character, note that you have two weeks to post with them and to keep them active. We are friendly, and like chatting with you in the cbox, but this board isn’t meant to chat, it’s meant to rpg and actually posts threads. If we see you constantly in cbox and not posting, we will ban you from the chat until you start posting.
- do not abuse the absence board. Seriously, if you make a character, we expect you to be active, not to post in the absence board because you’re busy with life and never post! If you know you won’t be able to post, then don’t make a character and wait until you know you will be able to do so, we would appreciate it.

ROLE-PLAY RULES
- this is a mature RPG that is rated for bloody violence. although, we do not allow cybering on the site at all! if you want to have your characters go "all the way" just add in a time skip, don't go in deep descriptions of their activities please and thank you.
- no god modding stay realistic; your character can't control someone else's character. just like you can't control us. no one is invincible and no one can have whatever they want to happen the way they wish.
- no chat speak like "omg, lol, stfu,..." when you chat is fine, but when you write a post, we would appreciate if you used an appropriate language. we don't want to spend hours just trying to figure out what this one language means.
- be patient it is one of the basics to wait to be accepted before you post. also, other members have their lives too, so please do not nag them to post as soon as they can. sometimes they have other things to do, and we really don't want role-playing to become a priority in their lives.
- this is an AU rpg which means any kind of creature can appear, it is not only about humans. whatever you can think off is mainly accepted unless staff say other wise.
- no one-liners are allowed on this site. if you are low on muse and still want to post, there is a place for that and it's called "low muse rp". the minimum amount of words we want here is 300 because we are an intermediate-advanced rpg forum. we won't go crazy checking every post you do, but if we do see that you post many replies that are less than 300 words we will warn you and if you don't try to raise your word count after two warnings you will be banned.
- don't center align your post it just doesn't look that neat and for most people, they don't like the style of it anyways, but you can blockquote your posts, just don't center align them. it also makes the post a bit harder to read, so just please spare us the trouble and don't do it.
- do not color your whole post please, first of all, it burns our eyes. second of all, it makes the post somewhat hard to read. and third of all, it is just plain annoying. you may color your characters thoughts and quotes, but just do not color your entire post. also, if you are going to color your character's thoughts and quotes, try to do it in a color that you can see somewhat clearly on the skin.
- liquid time is allowed so each of your characters can be in more than one thread at a time, but make sure you are in a reasonable amount. if you are in too many, the staff will warn you once and once only.
- make sure that your font is lisible for others when you write down your post. we want the site to be neat and no one to have trouble trying to find out what are the words you typed simply because the font was hard to read.

CHARACTER RULES
- to claim a canon you must
1. have an oc here and proved to the staff you can handle a canon and will remain active
or
2. send the link to a site you're on with the name of your character so a staff member can see if you really are active and can handle it and give an rp sample of at least 450 words. Note that only sites that allow guests to see every rp area and profiles will be accepted.
3. Canons will need to be active posters at least twice a week, posting into OCC & IC games won't count. The ICC chat box doesn't count as 'activity' either.
4. If you grow to become inactive, you will recieve one warning from either SAY or BEX. We understand that you may have a life and we would like you to warn us if it's the case. If you remain inactive, you will recieve another warning and if it keeps on, we will delete your account.
- anime/manga face claims only we won't accept any original art for your character's face claim because it's to avoid accusations and confusions of art theft. you may also use face claims from video games like final fantasy. other than that, any other face claims that are not from a(n) anime/manga will not be accepted. also, face claims are not optional, you must have a face claim.
- to avoid confusion please change your display name to your character's name once your character is accepted. write it all in casps! it looks pretty that way!
- character names in caps please write the name of your characters all in caps. it looks neater. however you don’t have to register in caps but we would like you to change it once you’re accepted.
- the character limit of the moment will be 5 meaning, you cannot have more than five characters, note that if we consider that you can't take all of your characters as active as they should be and unless you don't have a good reason (we will discuss about that via PM), we might settle you an other character limit than the one we've put up here. Although, if you're an active enough member and would like to have more than one characters, you would have to PM the admins and ask us if you can. if we judge you could, then we'd gladly allow you to have more.
- you can get 3 free characters this means you can have three characters no matter how many posts you have on your other characters' accounts. though, after you made your first three, you must have at least 15 posts on each of your three characters' accounts in order to make your fourth one, and another 15 on your fourth character's account to make your fifth one. the same goes if you are granted permission to make more than five characters
- no mary-sue or gary-stu will be allowed here no one is perfect and no one has the baddest of the lucks that could exist. everyone have their own little quirks. not to add, wouldn't a perfect world be boring? sure you can exaggerate on certain aspects of your characters but don't do it TOO much please.
- every power must have a weakness your character is not a superhero; if it was to be we would've made a site for that. everyone has weaknesses and every power do. we will be picky on the weaknesses if we don't find some or think it doesn't suit.
- strong powers need a drawback we accept powers that can somewhat be strong but unless you are a deity, they will need a drawback. if an admin judges it needs one, please do the appropriate changes. we will be as picky as we are with the weaknesses.

CBOX RULES
- refrain from spamming please don't spam the cbox with useless messages of the sort. what the staff counts as spamming is more than five consecutive messages by the same person, so please, don't do it. besides, it's extremely annoying for everyone.
- put your name in caps in both the IC cbox and the regular cbox, please put your name in all caps. it makes it look all neat, and consistent. also, try to keep your name consistent because if you change it often, the staff will be confused on who is who.
- do not use symbols in name the only symbol we will allow for names is an explanation mark. other than that, please don't use any other symbols because sometimes the symbols will distort the name and make it hard to read.
- do not advertise seriously, don't give a link to your site in your name and also, don't advertise in the cbox period. it's extremely irritating for the staff, and it will count as automatic spam, so don't do it.
- do not spam I don’t think we need to elaborate on this rule, don’t spam.

IC CHAT RULES
- what happens in IC doesn't happens in RPG. I don't think I can make it clearer than that. what happens in IC will only happen in IC and it has nothing to do with the actual RPG. call it an 'alternative world' or whatever you want. but IC stories won't have anything to do with the threads you all are in.
- you cannot IC until you've made a thread. we don't want you to make characters just for the IC. if you create someone it is to be used in our RPG world. not to add that from now on, you may only RPG with the character that you rp with, meaning that if you have five characters and only rp with one, the one you rp with will be allowed in IC, not the other ones.

Please do note that these rules will be subject to change at times, so make sure you read them carefully. We will not tolerate members who refuse to read the rules, and we will know if you haven't read them. Also, the staff will announce if there is a rule change or if there is another rule added, so make sure you look out for those announcements. If you have any questions, please PM either or both of the admins.
