What a place it was! Thought Aurora as she was visiting one of the various islands the Bermuda Triangle had. She had been out, swimming into the sea for so long that she got sick of being in it and finally decided to explore around a little. She remembered the spot, or so, from a map at least, the Bermuda Triangle. She didn’t know if there were people on it, but she really hoped so. Those were her first thoughts when she firstly wandered onto the island, changing herself into a human and what not.
However, she was disappointed when she found out that there was nobody on this island! She had spent three days exploring around, hoping that she’d find some people around or any sign of life, really, anything but all she found was animals and some random items here and there left by pirates who had once found the land but probably forgot about. She was very disappointed, obviously because she had in mind to explore the greatest towns around and all she ended up to do was to find an empty island in the middle of nowhere! She was frustrated about herself; she expected adventures and for now, she didn’t find much and it was boring. She sighed once she was onto the sandy beach and kicked the ground before going near the waves and lying onto her stomach. She was onto the shore and waves came and went near her fingers while she played in it slightly. Her frying pan and her fork were near her, but far enough from the water so they wouldn’t get carried away by it.
She was wearing a light pink dress though that was wet and covered with sand by now; not that she cared much by now. Her feet were digging into the sand slightly and she sighed, thinking that her trip might just as well be ruined. She didn’t have a map of the world and even if her guess was that she was in the Bermuda Triangle she couldn’t be sure of it. Maybe it was foolish of her to want to go explore the world but she was still too mad about the people who were ignoring her and ranting to her about how important her duties her while in fact, it had always been about her sister. Sure, she was jealous of Arista in a way, but then again, she thought it was better this way; at least, she could be free and go wherever she wanted! She rolled onto her back to look up at the sky, her hair floating into the occasional waves and blinked. She figured that her adventures would have downsides too.

Felling of sand under his feet felt strange to the sliver hair young looking man as he walked on the beached. Though he was much older than he appeared to be since he was not a normal person no in fact he was one of the many deities that existed in the world he happen to be the deity of water that went by Calder and well the oceans as well. Being on land was something that he did not do that much of no he liked spending time in the ocean. It was home to him being in the water, but from time to time he did wonder on land. Though what he had seen on land well the world seemed to be in chaos he was well aware of those out there looking for the power of the gods and Atlantis. Of course the would never find it since it was well hidden deep under oceans deep so no one could reach it unless they were a mermaid of course since it was there home and well he had help the people of Atlantis become mermaids to be able to live under water after there city had sunk to the bottom of the ocean. Yet of course another incident he caused with his own powers had earn him the seal tattoo that was on his neck keeping his full power in check.
Calder still was very powerful with out his full power, but with his full power he could cause a lot of destruction. Something he did not want to cause again so he was alright with having his power in check the way it was. Some though he would figure that he would be angry over having some of his power sealed yet well anger had never been something he would let control him. No he knew what his angry could do he was able to keep that under control and be clam and mostly quiet around other people. Not overly the most talkative person in the world, but if someone did talk to him he walk talk back to them. Just mostly when he went out in the world people just seemed to not pay much notice to him even if he did stand out with his hair and his eyes which were purple color. Still he did not mind people leaving him alone since he could not be sure of people motives since well he was sure most people figured him for a normal person not knowing what he was when he was out and about in the world.
Not everyone in the world believed that the deities existed in the world. Yet they did just they weren't going around telling people what they were only those the could trust with such information knew what they were. Calder continued to walk to the beach he had end up some where in the Bermuda Triangle on one of the many uncharted islands. Yes these islands were not inhabited by anyone most did not even know about some the islands here. People were scared of the tales they had herd of ships going missing and strange things happening which he knew some of those things were caused by other deities or just not true. People seemed to believe that those thing were true and would stay away from this area which was a shame since the islands here were rather beautiful and good place to be near the ocean. Calder stopped walking and turn himself to look out at the water as the tide came in hitting his bare feet since he did not like wearing shoes much though he did wear clothing he just had on a white long sleeve button up shirt and pair of long black pants. As he stood there looking out at the water he had no idea that less then a few feet fro m him someone was laying on the beach sand on there back. No he was just focused on looking out at the water so he had no idea someone would see him if the turn there head and looked his way.

Aurora sighed as she continued looking up at the sky until she decided she could still try and find at least some treasures. She had managed to find a cave earlier, during the day and was willing to go back there to see if there was anything interesting she could use during her traveling time. Besides, her sister had clearly made the point that she didn’t want to have her around therefore, she could take all the time she wanted to actually go and explore more of the world. She was dying to see the people and all the things they had created! She had heard they had done so much great time but was always forbidden to get out. What was the point of being locked into the ocean while there was so much more to explore? She had no ideas but at least she was free and the feeling made her smile stupidly for a few seconds until she sat up and stretched her arms. Yup, she’d go back and visit the cave she had found; at least it would keep her entertained for now. She stood up, determined to actually go do something of her life and turned around to realize that she wasn’t alone. Wait, where did he come from? She thought she was alone on this island. Didn’t she visit it all? Maybe not; oh well, if there were more people in it it’d be wonderful! Perhaps she could get to see more of the world eventually if this one boy was friendly enough to have a conversation with her. She fixed some of her wet hair made sure that her wet dress wasn’t all too sandy and that she was presentable enough to go him and have a chat.
She silently hopped towards him, though made sure to make enough noises so he would be aware of her presence and the fact that he too wasn’t alone. Who knows, maybe he was one of these flying creatures like angels, dragons or anything else! She tried to hid her excitement as much as she could because she didn’t want to seem like being too much of a noob. Then again, who wouldn’t while they were stuck under waters for most of their lives? She wondered for a few moments and thought they would be in her situation and be as clueless as she was. Sure they had books but nothing compared to being on the ground and to actually interact with others for real. She stopped once she was close enough to him.
“Hi my name is Aurora, do you live on this island?” She asked him directly.

Calder was still just staring out at the water watching keep come in touching the sand. Yes he could just watch the water for ever with out moving though he guessed it would be strange if he stood there forever. Still though he was not in hurry to go any where just yet since well he had nothing he need to be doing. Life as a deity well allowed him to go where ever he wanted to and do what ever wanted of course he was not one to use the great power he had to cause trouble in the world he figured there was already enough of that all ready caused by other people. Even if some in the wold blamed them for all the problems when in fact most of them were caused by themselves. it not like the deities went around making people do bad things they had the choice to do what they wanted and there choices if some choice to do the wrong thing then that was there choice. Still could not help felling that there was more he could do to help the world, yet at the same time he knew he had to be careful who he trusted.
Yes there were those out there who would use the knowledge that he was a deity to try to use him to find the power of the gods. Of course he was not dum enough to let that happen since he would not go around say to every person he met I am a deity. No that was information he would just keep to himself. As he stood there still staring out ocean he just wonder if he should start to move and maybe explore the island more inland since well had spend a lot of time just walking along and as much as he liked the water he was curious to see what else was on the island. He was sure there would a lot of things worth seeing that he would not see in the water since well he did spend a lot of time in or near water. Though ever now then it was good to be on land and see other things that were around and he was sure with how uncharted this island was there would be something worth seeing. Calder still did not move when he noticed something out of the corner of his eye moving towards him.
It seemed to be a person a girl to be exact now that was strange he knew that no live don this island it was strange to see someone her. She seemed to be in an excited mood of find him there since she was hopping toward him trying to be silent and sneak up on him so he would not know she was there. “Hi my name is Aurora, do you live on this island?” he herd the girl ask him quite directly with out any hesitation. Now you would think someone would be wary of a stranger and not just come out and say there name to them. Turning himself so he was facing her so he could get a better look at her he was able to to look her over. Now she well did seem to have sand on her dress which made him figure she must have been laying on the sand. Her hair was a bit wet which must have come from land in the sand and letting the tide hit you. Still he was not sure what to make of this girl he would just have to play it safe and not give away to much information to her. No he had see what she wanted and he guessed he should just start by answering her question. "Umm no I do not live on this island I don't really think many people even know about it." he said to her. Yes he was sure that was true not many knew about it. Calder was very curious about this girl there was just something about her that was a bit odd to him. No he just stood quiet his purple eyes studying her trying to figure her out.

Aurora was really looking forward to a positive answer, if not; she guessed she would just go visit the caves that held treasures in it and possible handy items as well. It was weird to see him considering that he seemed familiar to her; she was from Atlantis and surely she’d know him if he was from there! She was the royal after all and she ought to know everyone almost! Unfortunately she didn’t think she had seen him from there. Even when she was escaping her palace from time to time, she didn’t recall of having seen him there. She decided to forget about it for now anyways, she was trying to be friendly in hope he’d give her handy information and possibly to tell her where she was! She wanted to slap herself now not to have brought a map along with her other items! Then again, would she know how to read it! Surely! She was pretty confident! She thought standing there proudly while waiting for the boy to answer to her. Was it a boy? He had silver hair, which was unnatural for young people, maybe he was old. She didn’t mind; she liked talking to old people anyways then again, he had no other signs that proved that he was as old as her grand-parents. Maybe it was typical of whatever race he was from to have silver hair. Either way, she thought it looked cute on him.
She frowned though when he answered to her, saying that he didn’t live on this island and that there weren’t anybody on it. How disappointing! There she thought she might find some sort of civilization and what did she end up finding? An island full of nothing! How fun was that? She hoped that her next adventures wouldn’t be as troublesome as they were at the moment! Nothing was exciting and there she was talking to a random boy who said that there weren’t many people who knew of this one island. Oh well, at least the view was pretty she thought trying to be optimistic.
“You’re serious?” She sighed before looking at the ocean. “Do you know where I could find a civilized one that is near?” She then asked him. Who knows, maybe he was good with locations and she could just dive in the water again and take a different direction; it wasn’t as if she had much to do but she frowned seeing grey clouds forming. Storms. It was as dangerous to stay inside the waters as staying outside. Maybe finding a cave wouldn’t be such a bad idea after all.

Calder was still studying the girl trying to figure her out since something just seemed familiar about her to him. Like he knew who or what she was just he could not put his finger on it. Yes well he did pay some attention to the world just not really a lot of it. No mostly he liked to take an approach of trying to not get to involved in the world like other deities would. Since well being to involved could lead to problems that well would not turn out so good. Still she just had the familiarity to her that just well was strange to him since he was sure he had never met her before. Calder guessed he would just need time to figure it out later just for now he was not sure what he should since normally he would have just gone back to his business yet something told him though this girl would not just let him walk off. Though it was not like he had anything else to do right now and maybe it would be alright to enter act with this girl. It had been a long time since he could remember the last time he did have contact with someone maybe it would be a good thing for him to do.
“You’re serious?” he herd Aurora say to him then sigh a bit. It seemed she was disappointed by the answer he had given her since well what was he suppose to say he knew that there was no one living on the island and that well not a lot of people would venture into the Bermuda Triangle to scared of all the strange tales they had herd. Of course he knew that some of those were just not true just things people had made up. People were just sometimes so gullible that they would believe any story they herd and think it was true. Maybe that was what maybe people believe in deities as well yet some people though were starting to doubt that deities even existed any more. Yet here he was one of those deities that was real of course that was not something he would just come out and say to this girl. No he would just keep that to himself for now. Calder had to be sure of this girl before he would revel something like that to her.
“Do you know where I could find a civilized one that is near?” she asked him. Well he was not sure where the close island that did have people was located at. it was not like he had a map with to know that information. Calder then noticed her look out and the ocean and looked out that way as well noticing the gray clods forming the sky that were much darker than normal meaning there was a storm coming. Which would of course effect the ocean making travel on the water rough. Maybe it would be a good idea to find some shelter before the storm came since he had seen a cave not to long ago that had been down the beach. Just as this idea came to his head he herd the sound of thunder and saw a flash of lighting just as the clods got over them and rain started to come down. Not really thinking about he grabbed Aurora's hand pulling he along as he moved down the beach toward where he had seen the cave. After few minutes of moving down the beach he saw the cave come into view as the rain started to fall heaver the sound of thunder and lighting around them. Finally the made it inside the cave where it was a bit dark yet the were safe from the storm. "Well that storm seemed to sneak up on us." Calder said to her. Yes it had and well he guessed they were not going any where soon with the storm yet well he could traveled in this weather, but he just did not want her to know that. "Guess were not going any where till that storms ends then." he said. So now he in this cave with Aurora not sure what they were going to do till the storm below over.

Aurora stared at Calder as he didn’t seem to respond that quickly to her question; she didn’t know why but he looked as lost as she did which wasn’t a good thing, at all! How was she supposed to travel when she’d find people who aren’t even able to give her directions?! It wasn’t as if she was mad at him for not knowing, he seemed good company, that’s for sure but she still was disappointed into the matters. She’d need to travel and take a guess to a new direction then in hope she’d find some kind of civilization. She was craving to be with humans and other creatures that were around the earth! If only she could find something exciting along the way too! Just not as exciting as pirates though; she wouldn’t be able to bring herself up in a fight if that was the case...then again, she could always try to kick some asses even if she didn’t know how to use her legs much during fights. They were handier when it came to dancing and walking but that was pretty much it!
She looked back up at the sky and soon enough it was entirely grey and lightning bolts were flashing around the sky. Woah! One second ago it was all bright and sunny...well, not that sunny but it was still a pretty day to hang outside. Oh well, she let Calder grab her hand and lead her to a cave, she didn’t mind and besides, she didn’t explore that part of the island either so it’d be a good thing! The storm was frightening a little but she could deal with it she thought rather confidently. She smiled slightly before walking inside the cave and looking around when occasional flashes caused by the lightning lightened the cave. She could see a few old items around and perked up slightly. Great! Maybe there were treasures around she thought excitedly.
She even forgot about the storm and went behind a rock finding a few military items like a sword, a shield, a helmet and other things like a dress and a chest. A chest!! She kicked it open almost forgetting that Calder was around and she looked around to find him when he talked about the storm. “Yes, but see! There’s things to distract us!” She said when she grabbed an umbrella, wondering about what it was for, she opened it slightly to reveal a pretty pinkish color and floral motifs on it. Ohh, it was pretty! Was it a shield for girls? She didn’t know. She closed it again and found a fork she used to brush her hair; might as well do that now that she had the time. “You can come and check, I think there’s a few things that could interest you in there!” She stated. Calder was now in a cave stuck till the storm past even though he could have just left. Yet well he felt that would have been rude to do to her leaving Aurora here on her own. He guessed she was not such bad company not as bad as most people you could met in the world. Yes most people in the world would not just go up to a complete stranger and talk to them so quickly like she had which well made him wounder if that was a good idea for her to do. Since for all she knew he could have been a bad person of course he was and of course he had not reveled what he was to her. No that information would stay to himself for now though now he was not sure what to do since was a bit dark inside the cave making it hard to see anything. Calder was sure this cave went deeper and that it was most likely used by people to hide things they did not want to get found since well pirates did seem to visit these island to hid there loot from the world. Of course over time that loot would get forgotten by them.
“Yes, but see! There’s things to distract us!” he herd Aurora say to him as she picked up an umbrella. Well there certainly was no shortage of stuff left behind by people. Yet still none of this stuff would interest him much no he had no use for items left behind by people. Though Aurora seemed excited by them like she had not seen much stuff like this before. Then it came to him could she be a mermaid one of those people that came from Atlantis yes that would seem to make sense to him about why there something familiar about her. Calder had help the people of Atlantis become what they were today mermaids and mermen. Since he had try to stop there city from sinking, but it had not worked so he instead helped them people mermaids and mermen to live under the ocean. Of course that had been back when he had his full power not having it sealed by the tattoo on his neck thinking about this made him rubbed on his neck.
Yes he knew that he had done something horrible to gain having his power sealed and just be lucky to even still be a deity. Since he could have just as easily been cast down and made into a mortal. “You can come and check, I think there’s a few things that could interest you in there!” he herd Aurora say which got him out of his thoughts. He stopped rubbing his neck to to walk to where she was looking at the items. There was nothing that was that interesting to him mostly just thing he had no use for being a deity he had no need for items like weapons or fancy trinkets. Turning his head he noticed Aurora combing her hair with a fork which defiantly told him she had no idea what a fork was used for. Looking around on the ground he was able to find a hair brush that he picked up. Then he walked over to her taking the fork from her hand and replacing it with the hair brush. "You know that fork is used to eat not brush hair that what the thing I put in hand is used for." Calder said to her. Yes she defiantly need some help he though to understand things on the surface good thing he knew a thing or two from the time he spend observing people. "Your not from the surface world are you Aurora." he said to her. Calder was quiet sure he was right about her being a mermaid just want to know if she would tell him or not if she was of course she could always not tell him. Just like he was not going to tell her what he was not yet know he need to get know her better before he told that information for now he just wanted to learn more about who she was first before reveling anything about himself.

Aurora did notice that the boy she was talking to didn’t seem to be one of the most sociable people on earth. She wished she could do something to make him talk to her more, or at least to get him to smile some. Then again she might be an intruder to him and maybe this island was his. Was it a private one? She wondered as she looked through the various items until she found the fork and used it as a comb. Ah well, she would make sure to apologize if it ever was the case. She wasn’t a rude girl, not at all! She just wanted to explore the world and see the wonders her parents forbid her to go see! From what she had seen so far, she found out that her parents were wrong! It was so sad; if only they knew what the world had to offer, surely they’d understand her needs to go there! She sighed at the thought, knowing she would probably be grounded for life if she ever came back to her palace. No way would she return home if it was to be forced to be locked inside even more often!
She blinked however when Calder took the fork away from her and gave her a strange item instead. What was that she thought looking at it as if it came from another planet. She didn’t want to brush her hair with that, she thought this was a comb, the fork like she had heard someone call it. She frowned until he gave her an explanation of the real use. Ah, a brush. So that’s what it was. She stared at the new object and observed it, touched it then decided to try it in her hair. She had to admit, it was better than using a fork, that’s for sure. They used forks to eat? That was odd....really, why would they use things to eat while they had their hands? She had so much things to learn while living there! It was exciting.
She stared at him suspiciously when he questioned her though, asking her if she was a mermaid. Of course she was, but what would he do if she told him the truth? Sure, she wouldn’t tell him that she was actually the princess of them all but still, did he want to find the powers of the Gods? But then again, why would someone on a lone island want to find the powers of the Gods? Wait, he could be wanting it and it could be the reason of why he is in an island! To be closer to Atlantis! So many questions were running through her mind as she was getting herself confused at the same time. It was starting to give her a headache until a thunder brought her back to the reality and startled her some. “No...” She simply said still cautiously in case he’d want something bad out of her. ”And I’m not going to tell you how we go to Atlantis.” She added firmly to make her point clear. Calder was looking around the cave as he waited for Aurora to answer him. This cave seemed to go pretty deep and he was sure there was more stuff deeper in the cave. Yet well he was not going to go off looking around since well he just did not want to get himself lost in the cave. Yes he had no idea if there was another exit at the end of the cave or if it just went deeper and then he would get lost. With being so dark he would not be able to to know where he was going either sure his eyes had adjusted to the dark still he was not going to take the chances. Of course though he would explore it more if that was what Aurora wanted to do. That did seem like something she would want to do and he was sure they would find more things. Turning his head a bit to look at her he noticed she was using the hair brush now to brush hair. It seemed she had understood what he said about the fork. Yes it was strange to think that people could go from using there hands to eat to creating an item like fork to eat there food now.
“No...” was what he herd Aurora say to him response to him about him saying that she was not from the surface. Well he just knew she was the way she seemed to act not really understanding much about things on the surface. Still he guessed that was not to wired since there were people much stranger than Aurora. ”And I’m not going to tell you how we go to Atlantis.” she said to him in firm voice. Well that was a bit of sunrise to him. Calder had no interest in find Atlantis since well he knew where was since he was the deity of water. Of course that was something he was not going to tell her just yet. Though he guessed that her telling him that was normal since he knew there were people that would do anything to get to Atlantis to find the power of the gods. Yet people did not understand that great power was not all it was cracked up to be. No it was sometimes dangerous to have so much power it could sometimes destroy people not just physically also there mental state could change as well.
That's why it was so important that the power was safe and well it seemed it was since no one had found it yet. Well at least it was good to know that no mermaids were going around reveling where Atlantis was located. "I have no interest in finding Atlantis so you have nothing to worry about." Calder said to her. That was true she had nothing to worry about from him he was not going to do anything to harm her so she could relax. Yet still he was not going to revel much information about himself no he just was not ready to tell her he was a deity. Well now he was just not sure what he should do next since well he was not sure if Aurora would relax now that he had said he had no interest in Atlantis. Well maybe he could suggest that they explore the cave more and see what they find. "Umm how about we explore the cave more we might find something interesting." he said to her. Calder hope that would peak her interest and maybe help her fell that his words were true that he did not care about find Atlantis. So he was quiet now waiting for Aurora to say something or start of to explore deeper into the cave.

Aurora continued brushing her hair until she was done and grabbed a bag she had gotten from one of the various treasures she had found to place the item along with her fork and her frying pan. Surely it’d be handy-she liked brushing her hair and taking care of these from time to time. She didn’t need to do this underwater but it was nice to do while she was out. Things humans created weren’t all dumb and silly and she was happy she got to discover them all. She looked at Calder cautiously though when he talked about her being a mermaid. It must be quite obvious to him for her to be-not knowing much about what humans did and wanting to discover everything didn’t help to cover her up. As long as they didn’t know she was actually the princess of them all she didn’t think it’d be that bad though which would be a good thing, really.
She was happy to know when Calder told her that he wasn’t interested about finding Atlantis. Sure, she would still be careful around him but for now, she would tone her suspicions towards him down. Slightly. Not to add that it was less boring to talk to someone while being stuck in a cave waiting for the storm to be over. If he was as nice as she thought he was for now she could have someone to watch for her back. She decided that for now she would trust him and see how things would go while talking to him. Speaking of, what was his name anyways? “What’s your name? I don’t think I remember you telling it to me.” She told him as she looked at him some more. He sure was different from the people she had met before. It was intriguing.
She stood up at his suggestion and smiled slightly. Exploring the cave sure sounded fun to do! She bet he was curious too just to see how deep it would go! She nodded at him and stood up smiling slightly. “ Of course! Maybe there’s going to have more than these treasures around! I’m positive!” she exclaimed happily, ready to go to the adventure once again. It’d surely be more entertaining than being stuck here! She grabbed her things and settled everything to make sure that she was fine and turned up to him. “Ready to go?” She asked him, smiling slightly.

Calder was still quiet while he waited for a reply from Aurora about exploring the cave. Yes he was a bit curious to see how deep this cave went since he was sure it went pretty deep since he could not see any light coming from the dark tunnel they were near. So that meant this cave went deeper back and he was sure there would be more junk littering the ground of the cave as the explored it. Still though he was not sure why he was even staying this long since well normally he would have just walked away from Aurora. Thought he just found himself well a bit fascinated by this girl. She just seemed like she need help to understand how things on the surface worked. O f course he was still not going to tell her what he was no that was something he would just keep to himself still. Yes he felt it was still not a good idea just some out and say he was a deity since well he need to careful with that information. Just like he felt she was still going to be cautious about him. Even if she did have to worry about harming her in any way.
“What’s your name? I don’t think I remember you telling it to me.” he herd her say to him. Well that was true he had not told her his name yet since well she had already told him her name. Calder guessed it would be alright to at least tell her his name there could be no harm in that. Since well he was sure she would not know what he was from his name since many people had seemed to forgotten the names of the gods of this world. "Calder that is my name." Calder said to her. Well he had told her his name he hoped that would make her happy that she knew his name now. Yes telling that was not really a big deal to him he guessed he should have told it to her when she had told him her name. Just well it slipped his mind when they had gotten caught in the storm that was ragging out the walls of the cave. Yes he could still hear the sounds of lighting and thunder outside the walls of the cave and the rain falling. So it seemed the storm was not going to end any time soon.
“ Of course! Maybe there’s going to have more than these treasures around! I’m positive!” he herd her say happily to him about exploring the cave more. Well she seemed happy about the idea of exploring maybe that was what had brought he to come to the surface world. Since well he knew that bottom of the ocean well could get boring after a while since it was just the same most of the time. Calder well just could not understand why more of the people like her did not come to the surface more often yes he knew that well they could not spend a lot of time away from being in water. Still if he was stuck living at the bottom of the ocean he would become bored of it and want to get out and explore the world to see more things. “Ready to go?” he herd her ask him seeing her smile. Her smile was well a bit infectious since it made him smile a bit which was a rare thing to see since he never smile very often. "Oh yes I am ready lead the way." He said to her. Calder deiced he would her lead them on the exploration of the cave so he waited for her to start walking so that he could follow her.

Aurora waited for Calder to answer to her question patiently. In fact, she thought that being a princess, you had to be patient. Take her as an example; she was stuck to always be in the back, waiting for everything to happen to her older sister. She wasn’t jealous of her duties, not at all, but she still hated the fact that she was there remaining in the background all the time, without doing much of her spare time. Where was the fun of being there just for appearances? She didn’t see any of it and honestly, she was becoming sick of it! She wanted to prove to everyone what she was made off, she wanted to discover the world; she wanted to see if these people were really all that bad! She wanted to prove to people that she wasn’t just going to be there and sit quietly. She wanted to live her life and she wasn’t going to live it in the shadows of her sister! Not to add that considering the way they argued the day before she was to hang out with her didn’t help the matters.
She sighed softly at the thought but as soon as the boy told her his name, she smiled, pushing all these unpleasant thoughts away in her mind. They didn’t need to torment her that much because anyway…she was free! Yes! She giggled silently to herself as she thought about this and stared down at her legs. She could walk too! Feel the ground under her feet, not being stuck in the water had its advantages; she could jump, climb, run, walk; do whatever as pleased! Having legs was awesome! She looked up at him and nodded at him. “It is nice to meet you sir Calder!” She said with a slight bow before giggling once again before she’d get her attention back to the cave.
She wanted to explore it and see what it was made of. Would they meet thieves? She hoped not; she wanted to find treasures! Wonderful things that people talked about so often! Maybe she would find them in a cave and anyways, there was a storm out there so it was best not to go outside for now! Once she questioned him about starting the exploration, she smiled at his positive answer. “Perfect!” She chimed and started walking to the opposite direction of the entrance. It was dark, yes, but her eyes got used to it and even if she wasn’t seeing perfectly, she could still walk. It wasn’t as if they’d fall on a whole or whatever there could be in a cave; she was positive nothing bad would happen! She hummed to herself when she walked, looking behind her to see if this Calder was following her in her adventure, walking for quite some time. “What do you think we will find?” She asked him suddenly to break the silence. Calder was still waiting for Aurora to lead they way of exploring the cave. Yes he still was a bit surprised that he well allowing himself to spend this much time around he just met. Normally he would have well just avoid being around someone yet well he had gotten stuck in the situation due to the storm outside. Sure a storm like this would not effect him much just well he did not want to draw unwanted attention from Aurora that would make her curious about what he was. Since he was not ready to tell her that he was a deity no that information would still be something that he would keep to himself. Still he knew that well he need to be careful not to do something would make her ask him what he was since well he knew what she was she was a mermaid. Calder still though felt there was more to her than just being a normal mermaid, but he would not ask her about her life or anything. No he did not want to intrude into her personal life. He deiced he would let her tell him more about herself if she wanted to he would not force her talk about anything she didn't want to talk about with him.
“Perfect!” he herd her say to him response to him wanting to explore the cave with her. Then she started to walk so he followed her down the tunnel of the cave. Even with it being dark his eyes had adjusted to the dark so he could see where they were going pretty well. So he followed her watching everything they past there seemed to be more junk laying around the tunnel of the cave. It seemed people just left what ever they felt like in this place. He was sure that this cave had been a used a lot by people to hide things so there might be things of more value than they things they had already seen. Of course he had no use for such items. Though he was sure that Aurora would be excited to see them since everything seemed to make her excited. Maybe that was what fascinated him about her. That every little thing was new to her since well he was sure she had spend most of her life living under the water not seeing much of the surface world.
Yes he did have to say that this world did have many things that were well very interesting. Still though there were some of his follow deities that well felt there were better than the mortals of this world. Calder did not fell that why though since well he felt that the deities were not better than mortal sometimes since they had all done things to this world something things were not something they could be proud of. And he knew the price for those by the tattoo on his neck which he rubbed with his hand as he though about this. “Whatdo you think we will find?” he herd Aurora ask him breaking him out of his thoughts. Well he was not sure what they would find in this cave though he was sure there could be a chest with riches and jewels. 'Umm well I am not sure what we will find though I am sure there bound to be a lot of things hidden here since i am sure people have used this cave to hide many things." Calder said to her. Yes it did seem like the perfect place to hide things. So he continued to follow here interested to see what they would find hidden in this cave.

Aurora might have no clues about what the world was made of but she surely was eager to discover it. She was aware that not everyone was a good person, just like in Atlantis, there’d be mean ones and good ones. She knew all that and yet, she still wanted to travel around the world and discover things, learn new ones as well. She was very open-minded and she knew for sure that whatever she would find, she would love it because so far, everything was better than being stuck under water. Her legs might not be as good as ‘normal’ people ones but they could still carry her for a decent amount of time as long as she jumped in the waters at least once a day. Anyways, she had all life long if she wanted considering she was just there for the appearances unlike her sister who was the one having all the important duties. She shook her head deciding that she would only focus on what was happening now and forget about her family for a while. Exploring the cave would be so much better than being stuck into her room and making herself pretty. She liked being so, but at some point, it was getting boring.
She looked around as they walked, finding a few random items she didn’t find interesting. If this cave was hiding treasures like she had found at the entrance, surely she would find better things if they’d get deeper! It didn’t look like a very large one but it was still big enough for them to wander for quite some time. She smiled as Calder spoke and she nodded. “Of course! We will find amazing things, that’s what I’m sure of.” She said. She didn’t know how long the walk lasted but eventually, after moments of silence, Aurora fell into what looked like a larger room. There had an open spot, which she could see the rain falling and the lightning occasionally getting light into the room.
That wasn’t what got her attention though; she noticed a few pretty old clothes as well as more items hidden, some made of gold and others of silver. She grabbed an other umbrella and found an helmet before wearing it and giggling. She pointed her umbrella at Calder. “Look, I’m a soldier.” She said while opening it to make it look like a shield. Her feet touched the water that was now onto the floor, the level was getting higher and higher but not enough to alarm her- she was a mermaid and could swim in it after all.

Calder was quiet now as he followed Aurora as they explored the cave. Yes he never well knew a cave could seem as deep as this one was. He just wonder how long it had been around and if had been made by the mortals of this world or even before that. It certainly seemed like it had been a around for quite a long time with how deep it seemed to go.It seemed that this world still held many wonders even to him someone that had been around as long as he had. Still though he was not nearly as curious as he felt that Aurora was about things. yes everything to her was well knew since they did not have a lot of things that were on the surface. Though there were thing in the ocean that were not on the surface like all the undersea life which of it was very beautiful though some of it was also very deadly. Yet under the ocean they did not have as many of the problems that were going on above the water. There was well no fighting going on between pirates and the navy under water like on the surface. Sure there was still crime under water just not a lot of it like on the surface. no under water was well a much better place than surface at times.
Still though living under water you missed out on a lot of things that the surface had to offer. Like seeing the stars in the night sky and interacting with all the different people and races of the world. So he was sure that was something that play a big role in Aurora deciding to come to the surface."Of course! We will find amazing things, that’s what I’m sure of.” he herd Aurora say to him. As he continued to follow her he notice that they came to an open area where he could see flash of lighting and see the rain falling. The lighting provided light so he could see all the stuff laying the area. There was still nothing that really caught his eye that interested him he had no use for any of these items since well he did not need them. No being a deity he had no use for material possessions. Yet he watched as Aurora looked at things. It all seemed well to be interesting to her and well at least it seemed she was having a good time exploring since well they were stuck in this situations thanks to the storm. And it did seem like the storm was not going to blow over anytime soon so he would just have to make the best of this situation.
“Look, I’m a soldier.” Calder herd Aurora say as she open another umbrella she found and had an old helmet on her head. Calder smirked a bit shaking his head a bit at her silliness. Again she had confused an umbrella for another item since no really soldier would use an umbrella as a shield no they would well use a shield made of wood or of another material. Still really he did not mind her being silly it just well made Aurora seem so much more like an easy person to get along with. Since well he knew that he was a much more serious person than she was yet and sometimes he could just be to serious really never loosen up. Yet well if he was not serious who knows what could have happen since being deity he had a lot of power of course some of that power was sealed by the tattoo on his neck. Which he started to rub with his left hand with out really realizing her was doing it. That always seemed to happen when he though about the tattoo. As he looked around the room he noticed that there was water starting to rise yet it did not bother him since well he was the deity of water and he was sure that Aurora was not bother by it being a mermaid and all. 'You do know an umbrella would not make a good shield since well any weapon would be able to cut through it." Calder said to her. Yes well he really did not know what else to say to her his hand still rubbing the tattoo on his neck. He was surprised she had not asked him about it. No he was quite as looked around the room not really sure what to talk about with her.

Aurora grinned goofily at Calder as she mimicked the men who claimed to be soldiers, walking like one still and giggling. She didn’t care about if she looked foolish or like an idiot doing this. Calder didn’t seem like the kind of boy who would judge her for doing so. He seemed to know more things than she did but he only explained things to her and he didn’t laugh at her or called her stupid so far. She already considered the boy as a friend even if she didn’t know of his race or intentions. She didn’t mind it at all and thought it was the more exciting. Besides, if he would’ve want to harm her, he would have done so earlier and way before. He had countless chances to do anything and all he did was paying her company. It was why she decided that she would trust him and enjoy herself while waiting for the storm to ease.
The level of the water was increasing only little by little, which gave Aurora the time to examine the things as she acted like a soldier still. She shrugged as he stated that Umbrellas wouldn’t make a good shield. She wasn’t bothered by this and she held it above her head so now it was preventing her from getting wet. Ah, maybe it was the use, not to get wet. People were wise she had to give them credits. She didn’t care about being wet however knowing that water was her element and that she needed it more than anyone, she tossed it away and continued her explorations.
She found a few other interesting items though as she attempted to grab a sword, she cut her finger on it slightly. She winced a little and blinked before dragging the finger to her mouth. “Ow.” She managed to say but soon turned her attention to a dress she found lovely and decided to take along with her during her journey. Free dresses were the best after all. She paused to look at her finger, it didn’t seem to bad but it was still bleeding.
“So, what were you doing here on this island?” she said to Calder before putting it back into her mouth. It was just a small cut; it wasn’t as if she would be bothered by it. She frowned at the sword and pulled out a pretty hat she wore. That was cute; perhaps she would keep it as well. There were many items she could use during her journey and discover the world.
