For the first time in many years there is complete and utter peace in the soul society. They could not be more content with the way of the world Arrancar are of no concern after a long confrontation leaving the smaller hollows leaderless and easy prey. Times are changing however in the soul society, for the first time since since creation A Captain Commander has stepped down as leader of the shinigami. Aware that age might be a hindrance to the to the Gotei 13. Instead she has chosen to retire and live out the rest of her life as an adviser for the royal court.
This is a sad and joyous time for the soul society. Never before has such an event occurred and there is almost a constant party for the retiring commander and it has been announced that there will be trails for the captains to see who will become the new leader and there are indeed three favorites.
And thus a time of peace as befallen the world of bleach but something is stirring in the darkness. Children are disappearing from the streets of Karakura town, more and more humans are gaining powers for no apparent reason, more shinigami are becoming Vizards, the once believed extinct Quincies are again surfacing, the Arrancar are building there ranks and there has been rumors that the Vasto Lorde are stirring. There is a darkness coming, a darkness that no one is prepared for. What side will you choose, will you be prepared, will you survive.
